Harbor safe
Steady stone
Comfortable life
Never alone

Chain severed
Suddenly adrift
Spinning stars
Universe shift

Fear tremble
Dark below
Caught fast
Sinking undertow

Spinning round
Trapped tight
Anguished prayers
Break the night

Endless repetitive
Litany
Oh GOD

Black coal eyes

Shielded in shame

Unnatural lips

Whisper a name

Night and day

Blur into one

Morphed bodies

Burn in the sun

Dancing and laughing

Revel at will

Pain and pleasure

As close as a pill

Leaving a trail

Twisted and torn

Crying alone

On a Jubilee Morn

The Flame

Distant memory

  of  long quenched flame

The body older,

  the heart the same

An electric touch,

  unexpected spark

Leaps out,

  the misty dark

A dazzling smile

  from perfect lips

A gentle kiss

  my heart skips

Awoken from the

  uneasy rest

The flame ignites

  in my breast
