My cousin thinks
I'm an evil man
Would it surprise her
Doing the best I can

Nights of sorrow
Utter despair
Lonely prayers
Fill empty air

Beliefs shattered
Drank it up
Bitter taste
Empty cup

New road
Forward still
Hope waits
Beyond this hill
