A Poem ... The Boy

The Boy

He listened
  As his father read
Visions filled
  His little head
Stories told
  By clever men
Life was fun
  Way back then
Adventure captured
  With simple thought
Dauntless heroes
  Villains caught
Eyes close
  Ambrosia sleep
His father watches
  And starts to weep.

A Poem ... An Echo Dim

An Echo Dim

She sat and watched
Her children play
She had to go
She couldn’t stay

Invisible wisp
Silent tear
Taken too soon
The greatest fear

Can she trust him?
Will he do it right?
Tender souls
Pitiful plight

She calls his name
That is never heard
She sobs again
That fateful word

He knows her voice
An echo dim
He’s not alone
She’s with him

A Poem ... Siren Song

Siren Song

White veil

Foreign place

Dancing circle

Hidden face

Siren song

Can’t resist

Gentle caress

Summer tryst

Asleep alone

Frozen ground

Deathly Still

Hollow sound

Ascended up

Celestial height

Darkness fills

Every night
