Defiant Man

Garden flowers
Torn asunder
Hail  hurled
Noisy thunder

Forest creatures
Shiver and cry
Lightning flashes
Blackened sky

Summer storm
Angry God
Driving Rain
Earth is awed

Soaked, chilled
To the bone
Defiant man
Stands alone.
