Another Meeting
Meetings, boredom, fatigue and grief
They talk so much it's beyond belief
I wonder why I am here at all
I sit and stare at the barren wall
I listen but I don't hear a sound
I stare at the crack that's on the ground
I am the man who has no voice
I am here, but not by choice
I scream at the voices in my head
I wish I was asleep, or even dead
To be free again, all it takes
Is a dirty needle and some shakes
Oh help me, help me please
I am begging you on my knees
The meeting's over, I see the sun
Let's do it again, it was so much fun

A Poem ... My Land
My Land
Ancient Sages shuffle in
Preaching of heaven
Hinting of sin
Terrified youth lend bended ear
Frightened by tales
No one should hear
Penance paid by miserable life
Misery and agony
Filled with strife
Lines painted on every face
Patterns emerge
From every disgrace
A beaten people, stand alone
When evil men
Capture the throne

A Poem ... The Children Play
The Children Play
Years ago, far away
In a land of gold
The children play
Songs of summer, games in snow
Love and laughter
Why did he go?
Sunrises, sunsets, all the same
Wandering restless
Tranquility his shame
Bidding goodbye, to all he knew
Dancing away
To that distant blue
Burdens, hardships, mile after mile
Forging a man
Who forgot how to smile
Building a kingdom, never to sleep
Wealth upon wealth
All his to keep
Sitting alone, day after day
Dreaming of the past
Where the children play.
Years ago, far away
In a land of gold
The children play
Songs of summer, games in snow
Love and laughter
Why did he go?
Sunrises, sunsets, all the same
Wandering restless
Tranquility his shame
Bidding goodbye, to all he knew
Dancing away
To that distant blue
Burdens, hardships, mile after mile
Forging a man
Who forgot how to smile
Building a kingdom, never to sleep
Wealth upon wealth
All his to keep
Sitting alone, day after day
Dreaming of the past
Where the children play.

A Poem ... Lost Harbor
Lost Harbor
Harbor safe
Steady stone
Comfortable life
Never alone
Chain severed
Suddenly adrift
Spinning stars
Universe shift
Fear tremble
Dark below
Caught fast
Sinking undertow
Spinning round
Trapped tight
Anguished prayers
Break the night
Endless repetitive
Litany
Oh GOD
Notice me
Harbor safe
Steady stone
Comfortable life
Never alone
Chain severed
Suddenly adrift
Spinning stars
Universe shift
Fear tremble
Dark below
Caught fast
Sinking undertow
Spinning round
Trapped tight
Anguished prayers
Break the night
Endless repetitive
Litany
Oh GOD
Notice me

A Poem ... Jubilee Morn
Jubilee Morn
Black coal eyes
Shielded in shame
Unnatural lips
Whisper a name
Night and day
Blur into one
Morphed bodies
Burn in the sun
Dancing and laughing
Revel at will
Pain and pleasure
As close as a pill
Leaving a trail
Twisted and torn
Crying alone
On a Jubilee Morn

A Poem ... The Flame
The Flame
Distant memory
of long quenched flame
The body older,
the heart the same
An electric touch,
unexpected spark
Leaps out,
the misty dark
A dazzling smile
from perfect lips
A gentle kiss
my heart skips
Awoken from the
uneasy rest
The flame ignites
in my breast

A poem ... The Rose
The Rose
Little rose
Alone in the wood
Growing now
Where I once stood
Silent sentinel
Of the valley deep
Memories drift
In endless sleep
The sparkle bright
From meandering stream
Pulls me
From my waking dream
She is gone
Now many year
I'm so grateful
The rose is here

A poem ... My Demise
My Demise
Floating gull
on magic air
Not a sorrow
not a care
Upright pines
silent guards
Watching over
lovely yards
Flowers bright
wave to me
Gentle breeze
from the sea
Dark tempting
whispering eyes
Distant night
of my demise

A poem ... Laughter
Laughter
The songs
of spring
Quicken
my heart
Amazing
sounds
From
every part
Blossoms
bloom
On every
tree
A beautiful
vibrant
Tapestry
Water
flows
From
dripping rain
Drumming
on
The
windowpane
Life
begins
Each
waking day
Laughter
leaping
From
every ray
